Rules for Airsoft Games

Welcome to champion valley. We are your hosts Airsoft Armory. I want to start of and let everyone know that safety is always our number one priority with having fun in a very close second. Just to let everyone know that Champion Valley is a Bio BB only field. If you need BBs our store has plenty of options for you. 

STAGING AREA -The staging area is the designated safe area were your eye protection may be taken off. While in the staging area and when exiting the playing field all players are required to have a barrel bag over the barrel of their gun and their magazine out of their gun. (This cannot be a sock, dead rag etc…) If you need a barrel bag Airsoft Armory has them available for purchase.

EYE PROTECTION- Everyone must wear eye protection when on the designated playing field.The only place where you can take your eye protection off is in the staging area. Everyone UNDER the age of 18 MUST wear a full face mask and that it covers their ears as well.

If you are over the age of 18 you can wear whatever eye protection you would like as long as it is ansi 87 rated and has full seal like Oakley M Frames with the gasket, Valken Goggles Etc... 

If you fog up while on the field and have trouble seeing it is extremely important to keep your eye protection on at all times. If you need help getting off the field so you can defog yell to a ref and we will help you get off the field. Safety is our number 1 priority. You only get one set of eyes! So make sure eye protection remains on your face at all times while on the playing field.

CALLING YOUR HIT- Airsoft is a game of honor so calling your hit is very important. There is no paint or indicator like paintball. When you are hit pull your dead rag and call your hit loud and clear “Can I get a hit on 3 2 1 “HIT” raise your dead rag high in the sky. If you do not have a dead rag Airsoft Armory has them for sale for. You do not need a dead rag although it is highly recommended. Make sure you raise your hand or something to indicate to the opposite team that you’ve been hit. Just remember if you do not have a dead rag you are more susceptible to getting over shot. 

BLIND FIRING- No blind firing at all period. Do you all know what blind firing is? (Show Example)Always Make sure you can see what you are shooting at all times. You can’t shoot through what you can’t see through. Shoulder your rifles.

ENGAGEMENT RULES-Snipers - There is a 100ft minimum engagement distance with snipers. You can not shoot anyone within 100ft of you. 1.8J w/.32g or 355 fps EVERY GUN must be chrono’d and tagged with the tag given to you by the chronoing ref.

MED (Minimum Engagement Distance) - There is no MED anymore at champion valley you may shoot them at close range. PLEASE DONT BE A DICK. Shoot them center mass in the chest plate or somewhere that will not cause harm to the other player. You may still give them the benefit of calling it but they may still turn and shoot you so shoot or don’t at your own risk.

SILENT KILLS/MELEE KILLS - we do allow melee weapons at champion valley. They must be foam or rubber blades. No hard plastic, Metal or wood. Do no stab or jab into anyone just simply tap them and tell them they are dead. If you get killed by someone sneaking up on you with a melee weapon please don’t yell hit as that person worked hard to get behind enemy lines and get a silent kill. 

GRENADE RULES Grenades have a 15 ft kill radius. Meaning if a grenade lands within 15ft of you then you are out. Unless you are behind hard cover. For example hard cover would be behind a building or wall or inside a hole unless the greande goes in the hole. Not a tree, not your friend, etc…

NO BLANK FIRE AMMUNITION OR GRENADES ALLOWED AT CHAMPION VALLEY PERIOD.(We have had people ask this)

LAUNCHER RULES-Launchers will only be used during big events or unless told otherwise by a ref for special game modes. 

BLIND MAN-When you hear the word “Blindman” everyone is to take their mag out of their gun, take a knee and stay where you are. When a Blindman is called it means something serious has happened (Someone lost eye protection, someone is seriously hurt, etc…) Do not fire, do not move, just stay put and wait until a ref call game on. Please do not give medical attention unless you are certified to do so. ONLY A REF CAN CALL OFF THE BLINDMAN!

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL-Absolutely no drugs or alcohol is allowed on the field period. This is a family friendly environment and we try to keep it clean and fun for everyone.

WEATHER- During the event of a major storm and if lightning is spotted we will postpone games until the sky’s are clear of lightning for 30 mins without any flashes. At that point the refs will allow gameplay to resume.

WILDLIFE- There is a lot of wildlife around on the fields and if you see any please do not shoot them. If any player is caught shooting animals you will be immediately removed. Scare them away but again please do not shoot them. This is their home and they are kind enough to share!

Please listen to what the refs are saying at all times. Make sure you are all staying plenty hydrated. Bring water with you if needed. Between 1:30-2pm we will take lunch break for 30-60 mins depending on what you guys are feeling. We at Airsoft Armory try to run clean, fun games for all and will not tolerate any rude behavior, disrespecting others, physical altercations, cheating or theft. 

Also please watch your language around the younger players.
